BOSSA Joint-Stock Company established in 1951 is one of Turkey’s largest vertically integrated textile manufacturer with a total of four production plants located on 1 million square meters of land with its 2.400 employees.

With a total of 84,5 million meters of dying capacity annually, Bossa offers market right finished fabrics through spinning, weaving, dying and finishing processes as a core business policy.

Bossa, having achieved the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certificate, continuously utilizes total quality applications to keep track of globalization and to cope with the high competition caused by changing consumption trends and consumer expectations. The quality and excellence will not only be a production target but will be a widespread, understood and applied concept to each and every process throughout the company as a lifestyle.
In 2009, Bossa’s total production reached 34,7 million meters of denim and sportswear, formal and smart casual wear and shirting. Total sales were US$ 164,1 million. Investments in 2009 totaled approximately US$ 4,1 million by summing up the last 7 years’ figure to US$ 130 million.
Close relations with world’s leading designers and brands in each of its three production lines are the major signs of our innovative, pioneer and R&D oriented operations. Behind this success; there are high human resources potentials, sales network, quality products, rich collection, high production and IT technology and strong financial structure.
In 2009 Bossa will continue to strive for excellence. Fast and innovative product lines and reaching to new markets with increased market penetrations will be one of our main targets. In this respective Bossa’s focus will not only be the difference and development on the product side but will aim to create an integral and continuous innovation culture in every processes with its workers. At macro level we will use Blue Ocean Strategy for innovation culture and at micro level more concentration on processes for value creation to our customers.
In December 2006, Bossa has accomplished to receive a TURQUALITY ® certificate. This will have a government incentive of refunding of 50% of its branding, market development and CRM based expenses.
In June 2009, Bossa has accomplished to receive a Research and Development Center Certificate.
Bossa’s shares are listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange with a free float of 32%. |
